What is the best stroller to get for newborn twins?

? Bella ? asked:

I am looking for the best stroller to get for my twins when they arrive. Most of the double strollers that I have seen look like they would be too big for them. Any ideas and help would be greatly appriciated!

I love the double “snap n go” where you just snap in their infant carseats…

we used this with our triplets in the beginning and it was so lightweight and easy to use!!!

When they got bigger ( around 2 months old ) we got the “B.O.B” stroller.. its an amazing off road stroller and just light weight, easy to use as well..

they rest seem bulky and inconvenient to me..

A great site to get reviews of products (and prices) for many items is

There are many reviews and descriptions of strollers there. No doubt many people will give recommendations here. Combine them with those on the website and you’ll have safest and best product for your baby.

The Maclaren Twin Techno is fabulous. It’s really lightweight, easy to push and maneuver, folds small, and will last forever. I would avoid a snap ‘n go, as you will only use it for a couple of months, and I’d avoid the Duo Glider because they’re bulky, awkward, and not the best quality as your kids get bigger.

I don’t have twins but from my own experience with my son, I would definitely recommend the Baby Trend Double Snap N Go Stroller. There is nothing more convenient than being able to just snap your baby’s car seat in and out of the stroller and go. You don’t have to disturb them when they are sleeping or even bundle them up in the winter (just use a bundle me). Plus, the snap n go’s are really light and fold so easily and take up very little room in the car! The snap n go was the best thing ever for when my son was still in his car seat! Totally worth it!

To the person who answered above me…I completely understand what you mean about only using it a couple of months, but the convenience of it makes it so worth every penny! Plus, its not that expensive anyway. I agree however with you about not getting something bulky. I’ve seen enormous travel systems for twins and I couldn’t even imagine pushing that thing around and loading and unloading it into my car!

w-e you do, don’t get a graco duoglider!
    it’s awful…
I recommend a twin BOB jogger, baby jogger city mini double, or a double maclaren

    good luck :)
